The Department of Human Rights and Civil Society in the Palestine Liberation Organization extends its sincere gratitude to the Republic of Malta for its prompt response to the distress call issued by one of the Freedom Flotilla vessels, which was attacked in international waters. We also highly appreciate the dedicated and responsible follow-up by the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Malta to ensure the safety of the activists on board. This noble humanitarian stance reflects a true spirit of international solidarity and a moral and legal commitment to protecting civilian lives and supporting the just effort to break the siege on our people in the Gaza Strip.
